Bible Babes
“Bible Babes” is Pamela’s visual midrash of some of the matriarchs in the Hebrew bible. Midrash is the Hebrew word derived from the root of the verb “darash” which means to seek, seek with care, inquire, but not replace figures of the bible.
By reimaging contemporary portraits of these women and creating still lives of their possible belongings, Pamela hopes to respectfully round out these powerful biblical women.
